Cessnock Rugby League Supporter Club is one of the most modern facilities in NSW. The Club itself houses 111 gaming machines; 6 magnificent conference rooms; a large auditorium; a 100 pax bistro; 100 seat restaurant; a coffee shop and has two commercial kitchens to support the food outlets.
Situated in the Hunter Valley with a strong membership of 8000, the Club also owns a busy 50 room, 4 star motel adjacent to the main premises under the trading name of ‘Best Western Wine Country Motor Inn’, which it will be taking over the management rights to in November. This means that the demand for great food will increase further and accordingly we are seeking qualified and motivated professionals to fill the roles of Chef and Pastry Chef.
These roles are crucial to the on-going success of the Club's excellent catering trade and will be an integral part of the kitchen team. To be considered for these roles you will:
- Possess an Australian/Work Visa
- Be able to work under pressure and unsupervised
- Follow all catering procedures
- Provide training and advice to all kitchen staff
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be reliable and flexible in your approach to work
- Have enthusiasm for work and be punctual and honest
- Maintain a high standard of personal and kitchen hygiene
