Breakers Country Club Wamberal, located on the Central Coast, is nestled along side the beautiful shores of Terrigal lagoon and only a 'stone's throw' away from Wamberal and Terrigal Beaches. The Club caters for everyone’s needs with Alfresco dining facilities, Brasserie, Outdoor deck with a covered childrens play area and Big Screen TV, Cafes, bars, TAB and sporting facilities including a nine hole, 18 tee golf course and two grass bowling greens.
 
The Club boasts a strong community focus and sponsors numerous local sporting and community groups. Moving forward in a COVID-Safe way after restrictions were lifted, the 60 staff members are pleased once again to offer all things sport and hospitality to their members.
 
Breakers Country Club has a full-time position available for an experienced Store/ Cellar/ Handy Person to join the team. The position will involve receiving all stock for bars, catering and general deliveries, plus general maintenance of the cellar, general repairs and handy work along with maintenance of the club’s facilities.
 
The role will include but will not be limited to the following duties:
  • Receiving and accounting for incoming stock and internal stock movements.
  • Receiving and accounting for catering stock and the rotation of stock.
  • Stocktaking of all beverage and consumable bar stock efficiently using Jenson stock control system.
  • Cellar maintenance, including line cleaning as scheduled.
  • Maintenance of all bar areas and back of house to ensure everything is kept up to date.
  • Ensure all correct compliance and safety principles are followed.
  • Check daily ERM reports for maintenance issues, identify the correct action to be taken.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacement of light bulbs, minor painting and building repairs and moving of furniture to meet trading requirements daily.
  • Assist and direct contractors as required.
To be considered for this role the successful applicant will:
  • Previous experience in cellar, store, and general maintenance.
  • Hold a valid RSA certificate.
  • Computer literacy essential.
  • Physically able to withstand heavy lifting and constantly be on the move.
  • Product knowledge
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of the team
  • Have an eye for details and be able to complete tasks to a high standard whilst working unsupervised.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Be available for early morning starts.
  • Be willing to undergo a medical check before commencing employment.
Salary will be in line with the Modern registered licensed clubs award at level 5.
