We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, experienced Payroll & Return to Work Coordinator to join the Castle Hill RSL Group family.

 ABOUT THE ROLE...

 A position currently exists for a Part-Time Payroll & Return to Work Coordinator (20-30 hours per week) with Castle Hill RSL Group. The person in this role is primarily responsible for delivering the weekly payroll and managing Workers Compensation claims.  Duties also include:

  • Ensure that effective payroll policies and procedures are in place, and regularly reviewed, to ensure process improvement and maximise productivity
  • Review current Worker’s Compensation policies and procedures to optimise efficacy and minimise claims cost
  • Liaise with insurance company, injured employees, doctors etc to fulfil company Worker’s Compensation requirements
  • Develop and implement return to work plans
  • Support injured workers and driving recovery through working closely with external providers
  • Assist the Group Chief Financial Officer and management to meet obligations and liaise with regulatory bodies such as OSR, ATO, external auditors and tax accountants
  • Distribution of payroll reports to relevant Department Managers
  • Ensure all award updates are implemented
  • Month end – Statistics, Payroll Tax, Superannuation information processed through the clearing house, Deductions to accounts for payment
  • Day to day administrative duties
  • Other related duties as required

Remuneration and conditions are in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Club Award.

 ABOUT YOU...

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency
  • Impeccable personal presentation standards
  • Minimum 3 years Payroll & Return to Work experience
  • Sage Micropay experience would be a bonus
  • Drivers licence and own transport
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines
