Here at 'The Henry' we are a very atypical small Club located not far from the Penrith CBD. The Club offers great facilities and services including Bistro, 2 Bars, 52 gaming machines, TAB/Keno, Function room, and a great outdoor courtyard with a children’s playground.
 
The role is for a Customer Service Manager and requires a dedicated professional with an understanding in all aspects of Club Management and Gaming including TAB/Keno and Promotions, particularly focusing on going that extra mile and providing outstanding customer service. This is a hands on position, opening and closing of the Club, running the day to day operations, staff supervision and cash handling as well as being an encouraging and motivating leader for your teams.
 
Shifts are primarily five (5) shifts a week rotating day and night, one 3 day weekend off each month. 
 
To take on this position you will:-
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the Club industry 
  • Have knowledge & experience of all operational areas of a licensed Club 
  • Able to lead, train & Motivate a team
  • Be committed to deliver exceptional customer service & exceeding our customers' expectations and driving the same standard of service in your team
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a knowledge & understanding of WHS requirements
  • Be proficient in Microsoft word  excel
  • Have good problem solving abilities
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Accountable with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Up to date knowledge of relevant Club legislations  and current RSA and RCG
  • Tab/Keno, Bar and Gaming experience.
 
You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day Management of the Club focusing on:-
  • Improving our customer service standards In all areas of the Club, with main focus on Gaming, Tab, Keno and promotions
  • Up selling membership to customers 
  • Run our regular Club and Gaming Promotions
  • Daily banking
  • Staff training and standard operating procedures in all areas
  • Cellar operations
  • Compliance
  • Reports and recommendations to management on all areas
  • Constant communication to all staff and management

Ideally you will currently possess: 

  • Certificate 1V in Hospitality or equivalent
  • RSA/RCG Certificates
