Located at the base of North Brother Mountain in Dooragan National Park, Laurieton is one of the villages that make up the Camden Haven area on the North Coast of NSW. 30km south of Port Macquarie, Laurieton offers an idyllic lifestyle for anyone who enjoys beaches, nature and outdoor activities. 
 
Laurieton United Services Club in the heart of this community, is known as one of the best venues for entertainment and great food on the Mid North Coast.  With 5 function rooms, we are also a sought after venue and the 'focal point of town' for functions. 
 
Ten (10) years ago the Club amalgamated with the Kew Country Club which is located 10km from the Laurieton United Services Club.
 
The Club is seeking a Finance & Administration Manager with an operational background in Golf and Bowls to predominantly work out of the Country Club.
 
The Club is seeking a suitably qualified Manager to assist the General Manager in the delivery of the Accounts and Reporting mechanisms.
 
Duties Include:
  • Preparation and presentation of Financial statements, budgets and corporate governance
  • Provide advice on the development of the Club's financial objectives, policies and programs
  • Monitors and evaluates the Club's financial performance
  • Develops and implements financial accounting systems and procedures
  • Collates, analysis and presents monthly board reports to senior management and Finance committee
  • Manages subordinate staff activities
  • Liaises with external auditors and other stakeholders
  • Promotes and represents the Club in negotiations, conferences, community events and other occasions
  • Co-ordinate Club Grants scheme for the Club
  • Prepare BAS and Payroll Tax return
  • Monitor cash flow and cash investment strategies
  • Prepare Insurance and Workers Compensation renewals annually
  • Supervise team of Administration Staff
To take on this challenging role you will:
  • Have Relevant Degree Qualification Completed or completing CPA or CA course
  • Have strong knowledge of the administration and operations of Golf and Bowls.
  • Have strong experience in a similar role
  • Have an excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance
  • Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Have a high level attention to detail
  • Be able to lead a team
  • Be able to make a positive contribution to the Club's senior management team
  • Be able to report and present information to the Board of Directors
  • Gaming Background, machine analysis, machine performance and gaming cashflow knowledge
