Customer Service (Duty) Manager

The Sporties Group are currently going through some exciting changes, we are always looking at innovative ways to renew and reinvigorate our offerings to enhance the member experience and to be the benchmark for industry standards.

We are looking to recruit a full time Customer Service Manager (Duty Manager) at our Moorebank Sports Club site to offer the highest possible customer experience along with exceptional leadership of our frontline team. 
 
The position will play a vital role in delivering the Sporties Group service standards along with driving the group’s new values of Accountability, Empathy, Above and Beyond, Team Work, Integrity and Innovation
 
We are looking for someone who can build genuine relationships with our staff and communicate effectively with all types of people.
 
You will be working alongside a passionate team who believe in the customer experience and genuinely care about inspiring others around them to be the best they can be.
 
If you have exceptional leadership and customer service skills, commitment to hard work, impeccable grooming and presentation then we want to hear from you! 
 
We are looking for people who will:
  • Be comfortable in engaging customers face to face;
  • Create a sense of excitement around future initiatives, promotions, programs, events etc
  • A passion for the Hospitality and Customer Service industry
  • Proven ability to lead people the daily operations in a hospitality environment;
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills;
  • Full availability to work a flexible roster inclusive of days, nights and weekends;
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation standards;
  • Sound PC literacy and administrative skills;
  • RSA and RCG certification;
  • Sound technical competency in EGMs, Keno, beverage and TAB operations;
  • Tertiary qualifications in management, hospitality and/or senior first aid is desirable.
  • Have access to your own transportation
Reporting to the Group Chief Operating Officer this position will form part of the Club’s Floor Management team and will play an integral role in its continued success.
