We are currently seeking a Food, Beverage & Gaming Attendant / Relief Supervisor (Full-Time) to join our team. This is a rare opportunity for a Food, Beverage, Gaming and Membership superstar to join the leadership team at Harbord Diggers and Manly Bowling Club.

The role

Harbord Diggers and Manly Bowling Club is looking for a Full Time Food, Beverage & Gaming Attendant and Relief Supervisor with an inspiring can-do attitude. We want to find a true hospitality superstar that is a people person and keen to learn. This is a role that will give you a lot of variation and find you working across both of our Northern Sites (Harbord Diggers and Manly Bowling Club).

 This role enables you to work across the following roles with us:

  • Food, Beverage & Gaming Attendant - Harbord Diggers and Manly Bowling Club
  • Relief Supervisor - Manly Bowling Club
  • Relief Gaming Supervisor – Harbord Diggers

 You will work as a Food, Beverage & Gaming Attendant on some shifts with other shifts being in the role of Supervisor/Gaming Supervisor. This opportunity will provide exposure to all areas of the venue including Food, Beverage, Gaming and Membership. When working as a Relief Supervisor you will primarily be responsible for the day to day running of the shift. The successful applicant will have exceptional customer service expectations and have the ability to motivate and lead team performance. Duties will include, but not limited to: -

  • Providing efficient and friendly service to our members and guests
  • Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
  • Ensure accurate processing of cash and credit card transactions
  • Use in house systems to place orders
  • Food, Beverage and Gaming service
  • Ensuring the smooth & efficient running of the day to day operations on shift as Relief Supervisor
  • Ensuring compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Food Act, RSA and RCG and HACCP and Gaming Regulations
  • Completing reports and customer communications
  • Assisting with coaching, training and performance management of staff
  • Ensure continuous improvement of Mounties Groups Service Delivery Standards
  • Developing a good rapport with our members & guests

 Skills & Experience

 To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service / hospitality role
  • Ability to lead and supervise the daily operations
  • Understanding of Club operations including experience with Food, Beverage, Gaming and Membership
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and superior customer service skills
  • Hands on work ethic 
  • A motivating leadership style that brings out the best in your team
  • Excellent problem solving & decision-making skills
  • Honest and personable while still capable of enforcing house rules
  • Passionate and proactive with a strong can-do attitude
  • Good attention to detail to meet a strong standard of excellence
  • Impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills
  • Computer literacy essential
  • Ability to multi-task & remain calm
  • Current NSW RSA & RCG certification
  • Full availability and the ability to work a flexible roster, which includes days, nights, weekends and public holidays
