Norah Head Sporties is a highly successful venue located on the beautiful Central Coast and is the hub for local community and holiday makers alike!

Facilities for the Club's 3000 strong membership include: 34 gaming machines; Contract Restaurant; Café; TAB and KENO; pool tables; alfresco area; Bowling Green and tennis courts and local live entertainment.

The General Manager is the face of the business and is required to be visible and hands on, in leading the team and driving the Club forward! Ready to take the next step in your career? Ideally suited to a Hospitality Manager looking to take on a first-time GM role.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Overall Management of the Day to Day operations of the Club and its facilities
  • Provide effective leadership, management and training of staff
  • Financial Management and Reporting including Budget preparation and compliance
  • Work with the Board to develop and implement strategies to grow the business
  • Management of Club Contracts (e.g. Catering, Cleaning)
  • Ensure an enjoyable Member / Guest experience in all contact with the Club
  • Develop, Implement and Manage an Entertainment, Activities and Promotions strategy
  • Manage relations and communications with all stakeholders including; Members, Board, Committees, Staff, Contractors and Suppliers
  • Act as Secretary of the Club
To be considered for this role the successful applicant will demonstrate:
  • Hospitality experience including Gaming Operations, Catering, Bar, Club promotions
  • Experience with applications including but not limited to; SwiftPOS, Ebet, Xero and Deputy
  • Strong cash flow and capital expenditure knowledge
  • Must have RSA and RCG and carry out all Secretary duties of the Club to comply with all Statue's and laws
  • The ability to produce concise and timely reports for the Board
  • The ability to be part of the Executive decision making process including Strategic Planning
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with Members and Visitors so they have a positive experience while enjoying our Club facilities
  • A 'can do' attitude and the ability to 'stamp your mark' on customer service standards
  • HR and Bookkeeping experience preferred
