About the role

We are recruiting for an experienced and customer service focused Supervisor to work with our passionate team, based in Cammeray. You will be responsible for working with the management team in the smooth running of the Club's day to day operations. You will have a constant presence on the floor with a 'hands on' approach where you are leading by example. Using your expertise behind the bar and your knowledge of gaming operations on a daily basis you will never be bored. This position comes with genuine opportunity to progress into management.

Indicative responsibilities include:

  • A passion for the hospitality and entertainment industry and ensuring the team delivers exceptional customer experiences
  • A proven ability to understand and proactively respond to the needs of your team and your customers
  • Personal initiative to effectively solve problems
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Exemplary cash handing capabilities
  • Practical compliance experience
  • A sound understanding of the nature of our business and the members we serve
  • Work Health & Safety responsibilities
  • Adhering to all corporate and legislative compliance

To be successful:

  • Substantial hospitality/entertainment experience
  • Availability to work weekends, nights and day shifts
  • A motivating leadership style that brings out the best in your team
  • Possess passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Outstanding verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation including current RSA, RCG and First Aid certification
  • Computer literacy essential, and eBet gaming would be highly regarded
  • An eye for detail across the board
