Parramatta Leagues Club has completed a number of exciting developments, which will make our Club the premier destination for sport and entertainment in Western Sydney. Located adjacent to the new Western Sydney Stadium, 2019 will see plenty of activity.

Parra Leagues is seeking a passionate Customer Service / Operations Manager whose prime focus is to optimise the total customer service experience provided to patrons of Parra Leagues. With a sophisticated understanding of Club operations and statutory compliance obligations this person will integrate their knowledge and experience of club management and operations with their unwavering focus on the customer and excellence of service delivery.
 
Key Performance Indicators will include:
  • Timely and accurate reporting.
  • Effective incident and compliant resolution.
  • As per agreement with the Chief Operations Officer
Key Responsibilities:
  • Directing the Club Security and Club Duty Management and reception team and employees in the performance of their duties.
  • Evaluation and appraisal of new and existing employees up to the level of Club Duty Manager and Club Security.
  • Recommendation of employees suitable for advancement and/or promotion
  • Compilation and maintenance of procedures, and ensuring standards set out therein are met.
  • Planning, notification and conduct of regular team meetings.
  • Attend all interdepartmental meetings that are relevant to the operation of the Club
  • The supervision of the overall premises and the ability to lead and motivate a team of employees.
  • Ensure high quality customer service in the Gaming Lounges and Food and Beverage outlets.
  • Managing and reporting on customer and employee related incidents.
  • Fulfil duties as a recognised Fire Warden and Certified First Aid Officer for the club when required.
Compliance
  • Compliance and knowledge of the Clubs articles of Association, including relevant Statutes, Acts of parliament and Government Regulations Specifically as follows
  • Liquor Act
  • Gaming Machine Act
  • Registered Clubs Act
  • Work Health and Safety Act
  • Anti - Discrimination Act
  • NSW Food Act and Regulations
  • Registered and Licenced Club Award
  • Fulfil duties as a recognised Fire Warden and Certified First Aid Officer for the club when required.
Essential Criteria:
  • Current RSA, RCG and First Aid certificates.
  • Demonstrate a solid background in leadership and managing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Have a sound knowledge of Gaming, Security and or Food and Beverage environments including knowledge of current legislation.
  • Good analytical skills to make appropriate business recommendations.
  • Problem solving skills.
Desirable:
  • Tertiary qualifications in frontline management preferable.
  • Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster including public holidays, nights and weekends.
Operational Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role - Essential
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate/ Advance Computer knowledge required – Updating and creating spreadsheets
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently
  • Hold a current RSA/RCG – Or willing to obtain
  • Available to work 4 days per week –Saturday to Tuesday
