Club Rivers is a medium sized club with a strong and dedicated staff of approximately 75 and a membership of over 16,000, the Club has recently completed a major multi storey car park and retail development and we want a Customer Service (Duty) Manager that is hands on and ready to hit the ground running.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, positive, professional Customer Service (Duty) Manager or a young up and comer looking at taking the next step in their career and are wanting to be a key member of the leadership team.
 
Roles & Responsibilities

As the Customer Service (Duty) Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
  • Oversee the day to day running of the Club, ensuring all front of house and operational areas of the Club run seamlessly, including gaming services, cashier, reception, food and beverage services, entertainment, promotions and ensuring areas are sufficiently staffed.
  • Daily cash reconciliation, processing and completing management reports;
  • Sound knowledge & understanding of legislation relating to licensed Clubs
  • Managing and reporting on customer and employee related incidents
  • Supervision and co-ordination of staff in the club, including training and developing the team to consistently improve employee performance and drive a positive culture
  • Finding solutions to customer issues and provide direction to staff as required
  • Monitoring compliance with all legislative requirements, WH&S and Club policies.
  • Ensuring high customer service standards are maintained at an optimum level
  • Manage the conduct and work performance of staff 
Candidate Criteria:
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A flexible approach to work, required to work a 24/7 rotating roster with a mix of days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Understanding of club operations & possess a "hands on" approach
  • A good practical knowledge of safe WHS practices
  • Current RSA / RCG
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • The ability to accurately and efficiently solve problems
