We are an award winning combined RSL and Golf Club at the forefront of the local community, offering bar, gaming, cafe, restaurant and function services of the highest standard, and with innovative plans for the near future!

We are probably the biggest source of donations, sponsorship and fundraising in the Manning Valley with all staff participating - we just won the ClubsNSW 'Heart of the Community Award' 

We are currently seeking applications from confident, vibrant and quality oriented candidates who are committed to providing GREAT food for our customers.  

We are looking for a spirited character who is ready to shine, is willing to have fun in the kitchen and inspire others to be great!  Food must be your passion and not just your job!

You would assist in the daily operation of the business through the following duties:

  • Planning for and executing menu items including, prep, cooking, plating and presentation
  • Checking and maintaining stock
  • Motivating and mentoring more junior members of the team with a hands-on approach and strong, natural leadership skills
  • Being able to build strong, effective relationships
  • Placing focus on great food and great service
  • Ensuring the kitchen team is aware of their Health & Safety and Food Hygiene responsibilities
  • Leading by example as a hands-on chef who can prepare food worthy of our establishment
  • Helping out with Cafe and Functions prep and cooking when needed
  • Become a welcome and valued part of our brigade #teamawesome !!

You will need to be able to demonstrate examples of the following experience and skills: 

  • Passionate about delicious and beautifully presented food
  • Charismatic and energetic approach to work
  • Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
  • Be a strong and coherent communicator
  • Reliable, hardworking and with a professional work ethic
  • Take full accountability and ownership of your role
  • Great culinary skills
  • Be able to work under pressure and stay calm in busy circumstances
  • Effective wastage management
  • Health and Safety and Food Hygiene focused!

The position involves working shifts weekdays, weekends and public holidays - candidates are required to be fully available during the club's operational hours.  You must have a food hygiene certificate and a trade qualification as a minimum.

It would be great if you have experience in the Club Industry!
