Club Taree is an award winning amalgamated RSL and Golf Club at the forefront of the local community, offering a beautiful 18 hole Golf Course with 3 practice holes, Pro Shop and bar, gaming, cafe, restaurant and function services of the highest standard, and with innovative plans for the near future!

We are one of the biggest sources of donations, sponsorship and fundraising in the Manning Valley with all staff participating - we just won the ClubsNSW 'Heart of the Community Award' and 2019 Mid North Coast Volunteer Team of the Year.

About the role... 

We are looking for a Finance Manager - full time or part time - to be part of our Senior Management Team, guiding the Club forwards towards even bigger and better achievements!

As a member of the Senior Management Team you are expected to work closely with your colleagues, creating a professional and cohesive atmosphere for both patrons and staff. All senior managers are expected to share our commitment and enthusiasm for this vision, in line with the Club's strategic plan

You will assist in the strategic success of the business through the following duties:

  • Timely preparation and analysis of financial results (including monthly presentation to the board)
  • Some taxation matters
  • Meaningful analysis and reporting
  • Budgets and forecasting
  • Asset management
  • Cash management
  • Inventory management
  • Internal and external audit management
  • Statutory compliance
  • Plus all other duties relevant and suitable for the role

You will need to be able to demonstrate examples of the following experience and skills: 

  • You are a highly organised, honest, ethical, flexible and driven individual, who is assertive when needed
  • You have the relevant qualifications and experience for a Senior Management position in a business with 65 employees with an annual turnover of $10.5 million
  • You have a proven track record of analysis that supports better commercial outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build key relation ships 

Due to the nature of the job you will need a National Police Clearance.
