Toronto Workers Club is one of the leading clubs in the Lake Macquarie region that offers a diverse range of facilities and services across two licensed premises, including Toronto Country Club.

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Duty Manager to join our team on a full-time basis and play a key role in maintaining and promoting the vision and values of the organisation. 

Reporting to the Operations/ HR Manager, the role is responsible for ensuring best practice within operations whilst delivering an exceptional customer service experience that makes Toronto Workers Club unique.

  • Provide a "hands on" approach with the coaching and counselling of staff.
  • Be proactive in the management of all Work, Health & Safety standards and policies.

To be considered for the role, applicants must possess the following:

  • Current NSW RSA & RCG Qualifications and TAB/AML certification.
  • Certificate IV or above in Hospitality or Frontline Management (preferred)
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar management role with a strong Food, Beverage & Gaming background.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Full availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster including morning and nights. 
  • Able to "think outside the box" to solve problems and deliver accurate work.
