Huskisson RSL (better known in the area as "Husky RSL") is situated right in the heart of town with some of the most picturesque views out over the ocean. The Club runs a very busy Bistro all year round along with a successful functions business that caters for everything from weddings to corporate events and social gatherings. Catering facilities include a 280 seat auditorium which also doubles as the functions space and the 120 seat Bistro.
Huskisson RSL Club requires the services of a qualified Chef.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Be a qualified Chef with a minimum of 3 years industry experience
- Possess sound rostering knowledge with the ability to control wage costs
- Have excellent availability across 7-days
- Be focused on assisting the Club to maintain its excellent functions reputation
- Be experienced in managing stock, controlling expenses and creating ordering efficiencies
- Be calm under pressure and able to rally the team to deliver when things get busy !
- Have a desire to meet and exceed standards
- Possess a practical and theoretical knowledge and understanding of OH&S and Food Hygiene legislation
Renumeration will commence under the NAPSA at Level 5. This is a lifestyle choice as well as a career opportunity.
