The new facility is the talk of the area (the glorious South Coast of NSW). The opening of the new Club meant that the previous club site could be refurbished and reopened as a Functions Centre. This Function Centre is ramping up as one of the busiest in the area. This however needs the assistance of a fabulous Functions Manager to help grow the facility as well as lead the team to make each and every function an absolute success for the client. Is this you ?
A little more about the club; The club boasts 9500 members with a staff of around 90 across all areas. The function area consists of a large space holding around 450 pax theatre style. This room can be broken up into 4 smaller rooms with capacities of 100, 80, 50 and 250. Plenty of scope to have a range of functions ! The caterer is excellent producing a range of modern Australian cuisine options.
What we require of you;
- Event or functions organising experience
- Experience in coordinating or supervising functions
- Computer literacy
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine vibrancy about yourself
- Enthusiasm !
Reporting to both the Catering Manager and the Secretary Manager, your role will be varied and exciting. You will be rewarded with a good salary which is negotiable for the right person.
