The venue prides itself on its relaxed and fun atmosphere. That said, it gets extremely busy, particularly through the summer months, so the successful candidate for the Night Manager role will have to be up for the challenge and ready to get a wriggle-on when they are on shift ! The role is primarily that of a Bar Manager as such, with a focus on leading a team of 10 or so to provide exceptional bar service and handle the volumes of people at the bar.
To be considered for this role:
- You will enjoy the flexibility that working nights brings (just check out the dot points at the top of this ad)
- You will be energetic and physically up for the challenge that night work in a busy (bar) venue brings
- You will possess a minimum of three years experience
- You will be hands-on with the ability to delegate where necessary
- You will possess exceptional leadership skills and a strong team ethic
- You will ideally be looking to cement your Supervisory experience with the view to a career in management
- You will ideally have a blend of Club and Pub experience
This is a busy, funky and beachy atmosphere - so a far cry from the traditional Clubs of old ! Accordingly the expectations of the successful candidate are that they will be comfortable in this sort of environment and be prepared to lead from the front. You will bring a level of professionalism that is backed up with the ability to deliver service excellence through your team and the resources at hand.
The Club itself has 27 gaming machines, 15 fun and energetic staff and over 7,000 members.
