The Club & The Team
Located in Settlement City & overlooking the Hastings River, Port Macquarie Panthers provides a picturesque meeting spot with a relaxing atmosphere & a friendly team who genuinely care about their customers. We’re seeking a dynamic & experienced supervisor or manager to join our friendly team & help us to remain the leaders in hospitality. 
 
The Role
Stepping into this key role, your passion for customer service & commitment to your team will be vital in the success of your team & the club. Leading a multi-skilled team of hospitality professionals, your infectious energy will inspire & motivate the team to reach new heights in customer service. This hands on role offers variety & responsibility, & your duties will include: 

  •   Ensuring the team adheres to Panthers policies & procedures, & legislative requirements.
  •   Shift & staff management including performance management & disciplinary action.
  •   Managing conflict resolution & customer complaints.
  •   Safe & secure opening & closing of the premises.
  •   Demonstrating an awareness of OH&S principles.
  •   Managing efficient & effective stock control processes.
  •   Accurate completion of various documentation including shift reports, incident reports & worksheets.
  •   Potential to add portfolios in the future.

 
The Right Candidate
With previous experience in a similar role, you will have a good working knowledge of bars, catering & gaming, & enjoy being part of a multi-skilled team. Exceptional customer service skills combined with a high level of confidence in handling challenging situations, & the ability to think on your feet are essential for your success in this role. You will demonstrate excellent written & verbal communication skills & be proficient in using Microsoft applications.
 
RSA, RCG & First Aid certificates are essential. You will need to be available 7 days / week, including evenings, weekends & public holidays, to work as required.
