With a well established venue in the heart of Newcastle our function rooms can cater for functions with 10 to 1000 people. We need you to build on a solid base whilst being supported and working in a great team environment.
Working closely with our new high profile caterers, we see a huge growth in our business and we want you to be a part of it.
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Functions Sales / Coordination in a medium-large organisation responsible for both sales and delivery.
- A history of managing a customer focussed financially viable functions business.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively with other teams in the delivery of the function.
- A pro-active approach to growing the business.
This is a role with end to end responsibility for the sale and delivery of functions.
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for;
- Establishment of sales and marketing collateral
- Identifying and responding to the customers needs.
- Liaison with customers regarding menus and function requirements end-to-end
- Working to an agreed budget and achieving set KPI’s.
- Providing leadership and support to front and back of house teams to ensure the success of each event.
You will be assisted by an Events Coordinator & Trainee and we see your position as important to the future of our club. We are committed to making this a highly autonomous role with a strong collaborative and participative approach to decision making and problem solving and are supportive in your ongoing development through training and further education.
