Take your career to the next level with this exciting, challenging role as a Kitchenhand Supervisor at Rooty Hill RSL Club. This is a great opportunity to lead a team of Kitchen hands within the Food & Beverage Department.
This role will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Operating wash-up areas and maintaining a constant supply of clean material to kitchens and restaurants
- Supervising and assisting Kitchen Hands to ensure that kitchen cleanliness is of the highest standard
- Rostering and Training of kitchen hands
- Ensuring Weekly & Monthly cleaning checklists are complete
- Compliance with company policies & procedures
- Compliance with safety work procedures (PPE) & OH&S regulations
- Use safe manual handling techniques and ensure all staff follow
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years experience as Kitchen Hand Supervisor
- Knowledge of chemicals and MSDS
- Computer literacy
- Good organizational skills
- Availability to work days, nights and weekends
- RSA certificate
The position is a hands-on role and is available for an immediate start. Applicants will be employed on a full time basis working weekdays and weekends. Award hourly rates and penalties apply. Note: This role is not responsible for any food preparation.
