The Club runs a busy Cafe 7 days and nights supported by a Brasserie/Grill three nights per week as well as a growing function/bus trade. The food sales will be in excess of $800,000 this year, and running at a profit of approximately $90,000.
The position of Head Chef is supported by a Food Services Manager and will be responsible for assisting the Food Services Manager in all managerial aspects of running a busy and successful operation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Trade Qualifications in Commercial Cookery are essential
- Formal Management qualifications would be a definite advantage
- Ability to demonstrate a record of achievement in a similar role in an organisation with multiple outlets
- Must be able and prepared to work shiftwork, weekends and public holidays
- Must always be attired to the standard set by the Club
- Team player with the ability to grow and develop those around you
- Calm disposition with sound communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in both FOH & BOH management skills
