Wests’ continued expansion has opened up an opportunity for a dynamic Gaming Analyst to join the lean, committed team at Wests. In addition to the day-to-day data entry and analysis, the successful applicant will be heavily involved in the rollout of a new, updated gaming system and analysis software suite, as well as with the club’s adoption of TITO, bonusing and a range of new gaming initiatives.
Whilst their primary responsibility will be the compilation, analysis and reporting on all aspects of the Club’s gaming performance, the successful applicant will be keen to explore all aspects of gaming operations. As such, you will be expected to make assessments and contributions about growth and development opportunities and to take on responsibilities with the club’s tiered loyalty reward program, promotions, gaming installs and floor moves, as well as a diverse range of other tasks under the direction of the Operations and Gaming Manager.
To be considered for this rewarding position, it is critical that you bring an innate passion for working in the hospitality industry and a mindset which will continually question our processes and operations to derive greater results from the Club’s gaming installation. Preference will also be given to applicants who can demonstrate the following:
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly computer literate with experience and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Demonstrated experience with gaming analysis software
- A fast learner who is receptive to, and suggestive of new ideas
- Willingness to vary hours to assist with occasional late night / early morning machine moves and installations
- Ability to both work unsupervised, as well as part of a cohesive team
- A can-do attitude with initiative, efficiency and a willingness to implement the many and varied requests of club management
