The Yamba Golf and Country Club is seeking an experienced and highly professional people person to undertake the role of Assistant Manager. The role is Wednesday to Sunday with all night shifts, which means that the successful candidate will be able to make the most of the daylight hours brushing up on their surfing/reading a book on the beach/fishing/etc ! This is a salaried role in the $45-50K range. Experience is essential as you will responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective running of the Club across the night shifts.
The ideal candidate will bring experience with:
- Staff supervision and leadership
- Rostering
- Cash control
- Presentation and security of premises
- Practical knowledge of RSA & RCG legislation
- Working with poker machines and ideally the DACOM system
- TAB & Keno operations
- Promotions and entertainment
This is very much a service based role with a strong focus on people and service delivery along with creating efficiencies within the nightly operations. This is a good sized Club with 62 gaming machines; TAB; Keno; 150 seat restaurant; 400 seat auditorium and one of the best golf courses on the East Coast.
