Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed established KPIs, ensuring the club's objectives are reached efficiently.
  • Financial Management: Analyse financial statements and accounts to make informed decisions; manage budgets to optimise financial health.
  • Leadership and Staff Management: Lead, motivate, and manage staff to develop a positive and productive work environment.
  • Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local communities and stakeholders to promote the club's cultural and social activities.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring they align with the club's objectives and enhance member engagement.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure the club adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and policies to maintain legal and ethical operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term plans to enhance the club's growth, relevance, and sustainability within the community.
  • Membership Growth and Retention: Implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones, enhancing the club’s community presence.
  
Candidate Profile
  • Extensive General Manager experience in NSW registered clubs, Licensee training, Advanced Licensee training and First Aid, ARCG, RSA, and proven commercial skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in functions and events leadership: Track record of managing high-volume event spaces, driving function revenue growth, negotiating supplier partnerships, and delivering flawless execution under pressure.
  • Advanced event strategy skills: Experience curating entertainment programs that boost patronage, with expertise in compliance, risk management, and innovative theming for cultural/community events.
  • Strong track record in operations, P&L management, team motivation, and community/stakeholder engagement.
  • Alignment with family-oriented, culturally rich venues delivering memorable hospitality experiences.​
