The Role Reporting to the Secretary Manager, the Head Chef is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the Club’s kitchen operations, including the Bistro, Café/bar, and functions.
This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to a chef who enjoys leading from the front, driving consistency, and fostering a strong team environment.
Key responsibilities include: - Leading day‑to‑day kitchen operations across Bistro, Café, and functions
- Managing, mentoring, and developing a small, stable kitchen team
- Overseeing menu planning, food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Driving operational efficiency, stock control, and cost management
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, WHS, and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the continued growth of the Club’s food and functions offering
The Operation - 120-seat Bistro and a 30-seat Café/bar, plus outdoor dining for approximately 40 guests
- Bistro and Café operating Tuesday to Sunday
