The quiet, scenic little river town of Euston is located 939km west of Sydney and is surrounded by vineyards. Euston Club and Resort is situated on the banks of the mighty Murray River in the heart of Euston and caters to the local population and the seasonal holiday visitors that come to see this beautiful part of NSW.

The Club itself is only 38 years young and boasts a huge range of facilities including: bowls, resort cabins and a motel complex. The Club houses 128 gaming machines, a bistro for lunch and dinner, function rooms for up to 280 and a membership of 7,700. In the final stages of a major renovation to the Catering offering, the Club is excited to be in a position to advertise the role of a Full-time Duty Manager. This role works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to deliver an overall experience to our customers in this exciting area of Club operations. Growing this area is an opportunity that awaits!

This means that the future is bright and exciting for the successful person who will join the team!

Required attributes for this role include:

  • Accredited NSW RSA & RCG certificates
  • Supervisory or Management experience within the Club/Hospitality Industry, with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to maintain the security and integrity of the Club operations
  • The ability to ensure customer service along with an enthusiastic eye for detail
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflict resolution with both patrons and staff
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends
  • Willingness to assist in the organisation and management of Club functions
  • Ability to conduct on-the-job training
  • Knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel is also an advantage but not essential

Remuneration package will be determined on industry experience and shall be in accordance with the Club Managers (State) Award. There is a HUGE opportunity for advancement within the organisation for the right person.
