St Marys Rugby League Club is one of western Sydney’s largest & progressive hospitality venues. In November, the Club will celebrate 40 years and to celebrate will open its $25 million new development. The Club consists of seven bars, four eateries, three lounges, a showroom, one of the best outdoor terraces in the Industry, Go Bananas Family Entertainment Centre, St Marys Leagues Stadium and the 120 room Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys.

With over 200 employees, 50,000 members and a $25 million development, the Club is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and qualified professional to join our Senior Management team in the role of Human Resources Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and manage all aspects of the Human Resources Function in-line with the Club’s core values and business objectives.
  • Develop a high performing, productive and engaged workforce culture that attracts, develops and maintains the highest calibre of personnel.
  • Manage WH&S requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Manage Industrial Relations matters as they arise.
  • Manage workers compensation claims, and co-ordinate return to work programs.
  • Manage staff recruitment, retention and development, in conjunction with Department Managers.
  • Manage the onboarding / induction process, including employee record keeping.
  • Manage Workplace Agreements
  • Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act & all Australian employment related legislation
  • Oversee and support employee communications at all levels.
  • Create, implement and review reward and recognition programs.
  • Create, implement and maintain a comprehensive training program for all employees.

You will require:

  • Previous experience and proven success as a Human Resources professional.
  • A strong ability to build relationships with all employees on all levels.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
