Forestville RSL Club is located on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney, just ten minutes from glorious beaches & within a short distance of the city, yet far enough away to relax & enjoy the serenity of the lovely Forest area! The Club has 9100 members with a full range of facilities including a Bistro, open 7 days for lunch & dinner, a variety of indoor and outdoor entertainment options, 94 gaming machines, regular live entertainment and Function facilities.

The Club is now seeking a Customer Service Manager to join our friendly team of 45+ staff delivering great service and smooth operations across the business on a daily basis. With a progressive and supportive management team that listens, this position offers the unique opportunity to shape our future through the valued input of your ideas and expertise. The role can be either full time or permanent part time.

Responsibilities of this key position include:

  • Managing the successful day to day operation of all service areas (including gaming and back of house)
  • Supervise employees to ensure consistent delivery of outstanding customer service
  • Being a 'hands on' leader who will motivate, coach and develop staff
  • Assist with the opening and closing of the Club
  • Operate and reconciling POS tills
  • Ensure operations are WH&S compliant at all times.

To be successful in this important role you will need the following:

  • 3 years Supervisory experience – Pub experience is welcome
  • Sound cash handling skills
  • Sound knowledge of Beverage, Gaming, TAB & Keno operations
  • Ability to lead a team with a 'hands on' approach
  • Ability to mentor and develop frontline staff
  • A service-focus and the ability to manage the customer experience
  • Ability to work independently and exercise initiative
  • Flexibility on weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Current NSW RSA & RCG Competency Card or Certificates
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer literacy
  • Exceptional grooming and presentation
