Guildford Leagues Club is located in Western Sydney, a 10 min drive from Parramatta and easily accessible by car, bus or train. The Club has been renovated with new furnishings and modern décor, including indoor and outdoor gaming areas servicing 179 gaming machines, a refurbished bar and dining facilities (contracted) and a great children’s playground on offer to our 9000 members and guests. The Club has multiple sports fields including Football, Cricket, Netball, Tennis Courts and Bowling Greens.

We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Duty Manager to join our team and help the business to continue to grow. You will be integral in rolling out new Customer Service programs and ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to our members and guests.

The successful applicant will have responsibilities in the following key areas:

  • Oversee all daily operation of Club activities including bar, gaming, safe & CRT balancing, promotions, security of Club premises and all other member facilities.
  • Leadership & Supervision of staff: Duty allocation, rosters, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, liaising with both staff, patrons and contractors.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Gaming Machines Act and WHS Responsibilities.
  • Providing clear written shift reports.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar management role
  • A comprehensive knowledge of all operational areas of the Club.
  • Have a strong focus on customer service.
  • Have strong leadership skills.
  • Be keen to advance your skills & adopt further responsibilities.
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Be flexible & self-motivated.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
  • Be available to work a rotating roster across a variety of shift times including days, overnights, weekends and public holidays.
