The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our busy & growing team based at our Mount Pritchard venue. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team that prides themselves on the commitment to our people, being our priority.

Whilst this generalist human resource operational role provides first level administrative support to the wider P&C team, your key focus will be the coordination and administration of all online and governance training throughout the Group.

Working in a small yet experienced P&C team, you’ll be exposed to a variety of people and culture initiatives and projects that will provide development and support opportunities into broader human resources skills for your on-going professional growth.

More specifically, duties will include:

  • Coordinate and schedule required training
  • Oversee and ensure master training register is up to date
  • Manage the administration of the learning management system ensuring appropriate training modules are allocated and completed
  • Monitor the Learning Support inbox ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner
  • Source suitable external training providers in line with business requirements as required
  • Communicate staff training via appropriate channels
  • Regular review of training needs and providers ensuring cost efficiencies
  • Assist with recruitment including phone screening, scheduling of interviews & reference checks as well as maintaining recruitment system
  • Assist with staff inductions including room set up, staff photos & ID badges, uniforms
  • Assist in the review of appraisal documentation and ensure processes are completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and conduct staff surveys and collate reports for feedback to department supervisors/managers
  • Coordinate employee reward and recognition initiatives
  • Coordinating the newsletter
  • Maintaining the Club’s compliance system risk management and appraisal systems including setting up of new users, uploading documents and assisting with navigational enquiries
  • General adhoc tasks including general correspondence, filing, archiving

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar or administrative role
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational, time management with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • High level of professionalism with sensitivity to confidential issues
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites as required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
  • Formal qualifications in Human Resource Management (currently undertaking or complete) will be considered favourably
