Ryde-Parramatta Golf Club is a pristine private golf club situated 20 minutes from Sydney's CBD and 10 minutes from Parramatta in West Ryde. With over 1,400 members, we are one of Sydney's most successful championship courses. The Club is in the process of a new phase of development with fantastic potential for any new employees.

We currently have two vacancies at the Club for a Junior Sous Chef and a Chef de Partie. Both are Full-time positions supporting our Head Chef within our fast paced kitchen brigade. We are looking for people who can bring their outstanding skills and talents to our team and build on our highly reputable culinary operation.

An important element of our catering operation is our Event Catering. We have an outstanding reputation as a preferred event and functions venue, having received many accolades awarded through the Australian Bridal Industry Association. Our new Chefs will be essential to this ongoing success, ensuring our high standard of food quality and service is continued.

The Club is also focused on delivering exceptional service to our members through our bistro, restaurant and snack menus. As part of the team, our new Chefs will support delivery in each of these catering areas and all the associated aspects of food preparation, purchase and storage.

To be successful in either of these key roles you will need:

  • Formal qualifications in commercial cookery
  • Experience in catering for Events and Functions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with sound problem solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently unsupervised
  • Good communications skills – written and verbal
  • Outstanding personal grooming and a professional manner
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Current RSA Certificate

Our Junior Sous Chef will also require:

  • Min 4 years experience as a Chef, with previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef

Our Chef de Partie will also require:

  • Min 3 years experience as a Chef, with previous experience as a Chef de Partie
